I have just noticed we have well over 50 members who have never even submited a single post. WHY would someone join and never voice an opinion or even just a hello.

Ah, this is nice place, better register so I can post when I got more time.... after several weeks... Hmm, many registered members without single post, I wonder....

Maybe something like this ?

Could be. Iwounder if it is worth emailing some of these members to find out why and if there is something that can be done to encourage them to post. This is one for the site admin to think about.

I have also not many members say exactly where they are from.
If you someone who is near you , you might what to contact them to meet up etc.
Obviously some members will not wat that though.

Those are very good ideas.

I found this site quite a time a go, but then I forgot it and my bookmarks are always been real mess, so I found this site later again

Nowdays I'm volvo300maniaholic, visiting several times a day in here

Hugh pointed me in this direction a few times. When I did come over here I found I a very nice forum and try and visit every day.
It is nice seeing new ppl all the time coming here.

Yeh i found this place ages ago and thought it was just a forum with no info etc, so i just overlooked it. Then i registered under a diff name and couldnt remember my password etc so i re registered and no i'm a volvo300maniac as said on my strut brace!!!! lol

How can you of all people say that Hugh , they are scared that talking to you might make them crash LOL .
I posted somewhere else that it would be good if everyone updated there profiles to include as much info as poss but of course that is a matter of personal choice .
