Interesting stuff, I like the front valance and the reversed Volvo sticker for people to know it's a Volvo in their mirrors! The wheels look good, need a close up to see the exact differences.

If you look at the pic of the wheel in the first pic its just the front face has been painted black thats all!!!

Forgot to say steve, as this is a 340 does that mean its a 1.4 twin carb?

its the 340 -->SERIE<--

this was before the renaming to 300 series with 340 and 360.

340 series= 343, 345 in L, DL, GL AND DLS + GLS.

DLS+GLS became 360, rest became 340.

The R sport was factory mounted on DLS versions, with B19A engine.
most of these were 343 (3 doors) DLS in white.

there are some examples of R-sport cars in other colour.
A dutch V3C member has a 345 (5 door) DLS in dark green.

both the 5 doors and the colour make it a very, very special car.

That be the bonnet thats been on UK ebay for the best part of ages, infact, it's probably gone again now, it went back into the guys ebay shop for a good 6 months. Car does look nice, even for a mk1

That AC switch looks to be lifted directly from a 240.

You don't want an R-Sport...they're crap...
