Saloon leather fits fine, i dont ever need to put the seats down, and you cant exactly see it but the leather is in mint condition. I wasnt going to let the scrap man have that!

Ahhh... the saloon bit in your sig refers to the leather only (thats why there are no commas!! I'm good at reading me) Good find there mate, the leather does look in good nick.
Right, about fitting the saloon interior. The door cards fit straight, as most of you will know.
Leather:- The middle bracket mount that saloons have fit as you probably will know, so thats the bottom middle secure, use the screws etc and she all fits together, its a very tight fit though and involves 2 people to do it. The top half as pointed out is unsecured, this hasnt been remedied yet but I am having 2 brackets made up which will be similar to the saloon bracket mentioned earlier. they will secure the backrests to the plastic moulding in the boot, that will secure both corners of the backrest. Further support will be added by using a bar of some description, this will also act as a rear brace to keep the body tight when cornering.
If any of you guys have a hatch 300 and see saloon leather its worth considering (if you dont mind loosing the ability to fold the backrests down)
I heard someone else has fitted saloon interior in their 300 also.
A friend of mine who has a Sierra 4x4 used a full grey leather interior from the rare 2000E sierra (which was only available in saloon form) and really, once its all in who cares that you cant fold the seats?

Al

Really? They are nothing special, just a set of Fox 5 alloys, most commonly found on corsas, saxos by the bolt on brigade.
The GLT mk3 alloys are trully hideous and so I had to do something about them quickly. My mate said I could have the 16s for £60 including 2 nearly new Avon tyres, so it didnt take me long to say "SOLD" lol. They are a little scratched and slightly curbed but nothing major.
All in all, im very pleased with the progress, after only owning her for 2 weeks she has superceded my previous black GLT and brought back the 360 glory to my motoring.

Thanks MJ, il have to say though, all this wouldnt be possible if it were not for the donor car, a 340 GLE limited edition saloon, but most of all, my 3 mates, Sean, Andy and Paul who helped me with finances, transport, their time and effort, and some phrases like "I hope you are going to bloody keep this Volvo!" I need not mention the colourful language lol
