Brake light switch

Post by Vart »

any ideas which way to turn the switch to make it more effective, my b/lights don't come on till the brakes are on quite hard.

i've adjusted the switch round both ways several turns but nothing really happens. at either extreme the lights stop coming on.

any ideas??

Mines just started doing this... following a bit of a 'brake abuse'. I havn't looked into it yet, I though I'd moved something elsewhere in the system, so havn't looked at the switch, quite likely I booted it too hard and moved it though. Will watch intrestedly, unless it warms up, when I shall have a look
