I can't think of christmas without snow and ice, I think that I have never experienced such thing.

At winter time I always need to clean ice from windows, very often sweep snow before scraping windows clean from ice. Steering is heavy and gears won't go in too well, battery feels almost flat, really hate these things on winter.
Of course nowdays it is not as cold as it used to be 10 years ago, -30C was common back then, now it is barely -20C once in winter. Some say that this is not because of global warming, just normal fluctuating, but I'm not sure about that, I feel that soon there is no more white christmas

Statistics proof that the last time we had a white christmas over here was back in 1981!! The definition is a pack of snow on both christmas days at the place of the meteorological centre in the middle of the country. Pretty weird, because we had lots of snow last February, and the whole country was going crazy. So if it's possible why not in christmas!!
