you need to modify the exhaust manifold, inlet manifold, fan location, turbo pipework, fuel lines, fuel pump, fuel tank, propshaft, clutch, entire exhaust system, and the stock 400 intrecooler wont go anywere near a 300, however hard you try. I will try to get round to writing a 'how to' guide soon as a few people are interested in doing this swap now, get it right and the performance is mad

Yes guys you it is simple maniacs.
I too would change so the motor but there is no technical opportunity. I shall be observe behind your project. Not the machine and a rocket will be. Though I at a forum saw photos who that the motor b18f have put and have made a forward drive on 300series.

I wish good luck.

I was at the JY today but didn't have time to spare to go pulling a cam. How many shall I pull when the time comes? One day I'll just do a blitz on them if you want, and pull as many sets as they have. I have a set of Penta 16v lifters (and cam bearing caps...don't ask) here, if they're any good...?
Would that be Kenneth, by any chance?
cheers

Ive done this swap in a right hand drive car, if you have a look at my web page, it has a few pictures of the engine and mods i made to the manifolds, they might be of use to you, Is yours right hand or left hand drive? i think it would be a lot easier in a LHD, you may not need to mod the exhaust manifold, and the down pipe will be easier, the inlet manifold will proberbly need to be modded though, although some N.A.S.P. 400's had a centre mount inlet manifold wich could be used instead, I think dai has one of these on his car (2.0 L 400 engine in RHD 340)

Mine is a LHD.. I think that it will be slightly easy
As you have done this swap.. please keep the eye on this topic... if I have some problem you are the right person to help
Why do I need to change the petrol tank?

Dai's manifold is currently sat in my basement

It's a wierd one - it has twin throttle plates which open sequentially like a standard downdraft carb. It should make fitment into a 300 a lot easier.
