Mountney R-Sport horn push

Post by Bilbo »

some of you may have seen on flee bay , r sport horn pushes[reproduction]. thing is they are no good for mountney bosses as they are to small. i know some of us have mountneys so would you be interested in one for yours ?? i have been in touch with the guy who had them and would put it to him if there was at least maybe 10 people interested. he charges $30 for the smaller ones but with a group buy it could be less. we could even try an uk company rather than usa if anyone know who could do this ,let us know please.

Good work! I like the idea, but for my everyday car I prefer the big chunky Mk3 GLT wheel, and it works perfectly for visibility of the gauges, as some wheels don't. I do like them though, bet that'll look ace in your car.

hmm is it me or does it look brown on that photo ,because its not,its black. some shoe polish required i think......and you should be able to see the touch ups around screws ,done with marker pen  ,but will get some small black washers asap. i missed a parcel delivery today which could be my r-sport horn push. will try collect it tomorrow.
more pics to follow of the completed item.
by the way the shape of wheel is perfect to see all guages and its the same size as standard[give or take a mm or 2].

I like the look of that! Cheap as chips. Interesting, I'm warming to the idea if all the gauges can still be seen with ease, looks pretty practical as well, where as some aren't when they are different sizes and designs!
