Yo! I've noticed a few of you have been considering stepping up and challenging my role as gauge guru. Consider this the donkey punch of victory...


1980-spec econ (or more accurately auto box vacuum!) and ambient temp gauges, to fit the centre console of a 'mk2' dash.

As if that wasn't enough, I made a little journey earlier today, and found one of these lying unloved at the side of the road (just kidding...ebay comes through again!)

So you gonna be buying a mk1/2 to actually use the gauges, or more for the "Damn I'm pimp, I have the mostest monitored shelf ever" shelf

Good job on the steps though, should make cleaning the roof easy for the BKV next year

So that vacuum gauge 1bar is 0kpa absolute pressure?

Looks indeed very nice, you defineatly need something like this too

Anyway that A/F meter is flashing leds like christmas tree, making it to be like KITT red thing would be quite interesting

It reads fully to the right at WOT, like the standard one.

I have (wideband) lambda pimpness too, albeit not installed yet

Ok, then vacuum meter is how I thought that it might be.

Nice a/f meter there, now when do we see action shoots from night/day from your cockpit ?

Is there any more room left for new toys?

I don't have even temp gauge, not even engine temp currently so my dashboard feels bit empty, of course that nice disco light show is there, that is about all

It ought to be nice, it cost about what the car is worth!

I'm sure I'll get some pics when it's all installed
