The reason i'm doin' this is 'cause i didn't like the carpet colour. It was nasty, old, and i didn't like it! I think i will clean fiber floor more easy and it will look cool- i think

Super!
So anybody is strong at a forum did not approach to modernizations of such plan. Excellent idea to make such musical system. It is a lot of work and it difficult. But we support you. We WAIT for RESULT. And final photos.
Cheers Omar

Now, that i'll have to hear. I didn't change the carpet 'cause i think, i could not make the carpet to follow the lines of the car. To buy one from old car on junk jard? They are expensive as hell!!!! So i'll give it a try with fiber! And i plan to make a small carpet where my feet are (to stop sliding).
Damn, a tub , ha? I did'nt think so far! I'll be ok i think

Very nice, that is indeed lot of work and I would say skill too
Fiberglass floor is actually wery nice idea, melting snow is not going to make floor wet so it won't rust this way so easily.
Boats have fiberglass floor because boats are usually just chunk of fiberglass, they use this special material that feels bit like sand paper, it is glued to fiberglass after painting, maybe that would be good idea?

Nice one! Looks sweet, but will be slippy. I'm with Jtbo, don't bother putting carpet by your feet, go to a chandlers, and look for non skid material, it's used mainly on yacht sides, but it's grippy as anything. 3M sell it to the public as a tape, 50mm wide, but you should be able to get hold of wider bits if you try, the size you'll need (45cm x 30?) you should be able to get as on offcut.
Keep us up to date!
