ive got a 1.4 and i got 111 (Mph) out of it. thats about 178km/h. not bad

I'm too chicken to go that fast but i can cruise at a comfortable 80 when need be.

My topspeed is 150 / 155 km/h with the 1984 vario (B14) and 180 km/h with the 360 GL injection (with passenger and a big load!!)

1.4 110mph and no not down hill

Well lets just say it was on 'a track' and the record in the B14 '90 340 was 109mph (174.4kph) up a slight hill, and in the B200K '86 was 117mph (187.2kph)! Remember on a track that is!

Speedo is not so accurate at high speeds. With GPS you can get accurate results.

And that's why i have it installed!

According to my speedo I acheived 110mph on an autobahn. This was in1996, racing across Germany to make a ferry in Zeebruger. Fuel consumption was astonomical, so had to fill up, border crossings caused more delays, missed the ferry!

the 345 topped out at an indicated 106mph, the 360 119mph

afaik gps isnt accurate enough to mesure accelleration..

My record is 155-160km/h (according to speedo).
The whole car feels like a giant vibrator at high speeds. I think it could go 170 or more but I really don't have the balls to try it.

And I'm driving a 1,7l...

My B14 has gone between 110 and 115 (arcording to the speedo) and yep, on 'a track'. You can watch the petrol needle go down though. (ahh yeah speeds are in miles)
