What is a mint 98k mile FSH 2.0i 360 GLT Saloon worth?
I bought this one of ebay , with the intention of converting to motorsport/drift spec , I've been driving it for 2,000 miles now. And i don't have the heart to break up a perfect car , there is not a ounce of rust on her , she has all the original volvo parts and books (3 keys too) , bucket floor mats still in mint condition , spare wheel never used etc. Cat 2 immobiliser.
I've seen a good potential car for drift at £650 , would it fetch that? I really don't know.
I get comments from whereever i take it, its really a minter.

Could be if its really truly mint and has no rust... it's top money though and completely standard (ie. no truly desireable options). The market of 300s is a very strange world... it's hard to say mate!
I'm glad you have the sense and conscience not to ruin a perfectly good, and infact mint car. Being the '89 spec it's a tad more toyed up, but as Steve says it's an odd market. You just never know, sometimes a tatty old boring spec car goes for silly money and a mint motor that is mroe desireable goes for pennies. Good work on keeping the stock bits as it makes the task simple of returning it to stock an easy option if that is desired. The problem is the market seems to have plenty of 300's about at the moment, whereas when I really wanted one, there were none! On here at V3M most of us have at least one or seven 300's, so unless it's something Chris would give an arm for, thus making life difficult for driving, it's unlikely to sell to one of us, that's not to say we can't convince friends to become Volvo 300 Maniacs.
Good luck mate, whatever happens, that 300 deserves a good home, I know Foggy was interested in it as a daily driver, but he's got two 300's at the moment. I'd really like a saloon in that condition, I've got a scruffy '89 spec one, but it's got to be broken sadly, it is past it, but I really don't have the space to take on another.
