First of all, great forum you have here. Bit
too late for me tho.
I have '82 340 with B19A, some kind of factory made mix up of 340 and 360.
Had it for couple of years, no bigger problems during that time. Served me well through the
winters and summers, real reliable partner.
But after almost 400000km it has, it's time to let go. It just simply rusts away, nothing much to
do anymore. Northern winters and it's salt baths have done their work. Technically it would
have many happy km's to come, but the rest of the car is simply dispappearing.
After being unused for few months, last week I got out and tried to start it. It was -10C cold,
but it started up like it was just driven there. Just amazing.
Maybe there will be some parts of it that can live on with some other car, but our journey
together has come to the end.
