Well, today me and my friend bought another 340
This time it's a 344 Diesel from 1985
The car has a lot of rust, the paint is in very very very bad condition.
The mechanic part, the engine it's ok, the gearbox makes a strange noise, brakes and suspension ok.
The car has (at least) 320800kms, 70000 in the last year

Some photos:
The car is in very bad shape.
Today I started to treat him, and I found that in the past it was a taxi
This Saturday maybe I'll do something to put him with better aspect!

For now I have.. in the old side:a 440 Turbo being parts donor, a 340 1.7 (now in stoped, maybe receive new engine soon), this 340diesel
Recent volvos we have a s80 an soon maybe I'll buy another one..
The car now is almost matt black. Maybe this weekend I'll work on it.
I bought this car to make trips spending 0€ in fuel
By the way. Maybe I'll paint the whole car. But I don't know if I keep the black original colour or if I change it....
I need to decide it until tomorrow! Opinions?

If you want to paint it I would paint it the couler you are happiest with. After all it is your car and you will driving it.

A 144 now that is a nice thought.
The 140 is an amazingly under rated car. Is it pre 1973?

Hi mate, interesting pics, and of the engine bay in the other thread. What are the seats from? Different, but they work ok! With that sort of mileage, I could imagine the originals being quite worn.
