found this guide to help you decide if rims your thinking of buying will fit ,
it gives pcd (stud pattern and spacing ) offset and centre bore size ,
dont forget you must stick to the correct pcd ,
you can try different offsets but watch out for fouling of arches or suspenson parts.
you can use wheels with a bigger centre bore ( preferably with a spigot ring to take up the difference ) but not smaller , although on some wheels a machine shop can actually enlarge the centre bore for about £10.00 a rim.

I remember a previos post and someone mentiond there is no locator on the rear axle.
The drums are flat but doth the mk and mk3 that I have have a stub on the hub itself. Spigots are a good idea if at all posible the the centre bore is oversize.
