Hi again guys,
Ive finally sourced almost all of the parts to put pas on my 86' 360GLT
And seem to have run into a hiccup with the simples of things,
How the heck do i fit the fluid reservoir where is is supposed to go if my fuel filter is in that spot?
Do PAS cars have the darn thing mounted in another position?
Any help at all appreciated... id love to see pics too
Cheeeers,
David

Nope, I'm sure it's in the same position, do you have a GLT resovoir bracket? The GLE and GLT have different types.
Glad to hear it's going ok, I'm doing this soon, so I can pester you for pointers

I have no idea which bracket ive got, all i know is that is from some 360 that had a B200 and thats as far as i am enlightened
A different bracket would explain my problem... can you describe where the GLT tank sits?
(The bracket i have makes the tank sit almost hard up against and square with the blower case.. and the bottom of the tank should be right where my fuel filter is atm)
Is a GLE maybe a B200K carby?
I guess that would be a good explanation.
Thanks mate, and yeah ill be glad to help
Regards,
David

That's from a B200K (carb) model. The brackets are definitely different - I need a B200E one at some point!

Hi mate, I'm glad you've got most of the kit sorted! Time hasn't been available to me lately! I've got one or two on some cars if you wanted one from a B200E GLT.

David,
I had mine shoved out of the way for a couple of months, until someone mentioned that it was an MOT failure (?!). I'd detach it and stick it to one side while you wait for the right parts to arrive.
I'm not sure if the bracket detaches from the reservoir...anyone care to comment?
cheers

of course it will...
real question is whether it will re-attach again afterwards

I seem to think it's a push sort of fit with a barb like clip inside somewhere, could be completely wrong! Might get time to have a look tomorrow!
