I do hope 'THE' Mac isn't associated with the Mac entries! We only know of one Mac here, and I don't think it's him.

Interesting, most are the drifting footage, some are cared for, previous cars that people are looking after and are putting time and effort into improving. Others are jsut wrecked for fun.........

Very nice engine! 8) But i'm wondering how's that turbo's central part aligned. :o Are those oil lines which are going almost horizontally? I've thought that the central bearing part shouldn't be aligned many degrees away from vertical position. I might be wrong though. :)

Do you have 8V block with the 16V head or is it a B234 or B204 engine? :P

Edit: Stupid me.. Oil feed was with banjo bolt so it looked like it was vertical.. ;)

Nice to finally see some vids of your car's Mark.

Whose is the maroon 360 that spins out about 2:40 in the 340 360 montage and is the other white one Kev Strong?

What sort of stuff do you need for track days? I'm hoping to get involved pretty soon.

the maroon one was my old red 340 1.7 and it was me spinning out, quite scary, i was doing 90 mph around there as the track just drops away from you you really carry speed through there, kev was in front videoing from behind.

we both did nothing last year but are hoping to get back on the track soon this year. :D

It sure does something to your brain as I also kept this year break from track and it starts to be bit huge pressure to get back to track already, I believe track days are some kind of drug, lol.

I don't know if UK has different policy, but in here helmet and road legal car (MOT mainly), no loose objects inside car, driving license and insurance are things needed, not much actually.

Bookatrack.com is perhaps one place to start in UK?

We have here in Finland radalle.com that is quite similar.

Cheers Jani, thats what I'm hoping. I guess local rules apply, so I'll have to do some research. And all motorsport is addictive, I do karting and rallying as well when I can get the pennies in, doesn't matter what kind, it's all fun!

EDIT: Just looked at that website Jani, in the novice section theres a Chris C from London... is there something I don't know??!?!
