Saw that earlier... looks ok, just dubious when a Yorkshireman says the bodywork is fair
Worth a look at though, could be a bargain!

Went to have a quick look at the car. The bodywork is fine, unfortunately they could not get it to start. I had little time so did not hang around. It's up for 195.00 on the forecourt.

It will have, as stated previously all cars after late 87 (E plate) will have PAS from the factory.

Well, as I said AMR, it may take sometime to get that ready. It's entirely up to you, but I've got a lot on until February now!

I'll get some pics soon. We'll see about February........ no promises! As to cost, I'd not like to say, considering what I spent on having the welding to the rear chassis rails done properly, and I mean properly, not a bodge for an MOT, something that will last and has been well fabricated, that cost more than the car will ever be worth sadly. But it's saved a good car and will hopefully be looked after in the future.

Hmmmm, cheeky seen as there were bids on it. Not affected myself, and it'd be hard to tell who was as it was bidder ID protected, stupid Ebay! I'd guess that someone paid the forecourt price it was advertised for....

At least you got to see it, it's very hard to tell from the pictures. I expect the non-starting was the electronic ignition fuse or relay or something silly like that, or just a poor battery!

Yea, I bet the non starting was due to a common 300 fault like a fuel pump fuse or lack of fuel.....................

Pete you are right. It was probably the battery. I was in a rush to get to the airport so did not have a lot of time. The body work was okay but the interior was well lived in, still would have been okay for £195.00. However I am not in such a rush and do not have the time/talent to do much with cars.
