17s do fit!

Post by Ali »

Don't worry they're not mine and i'm not planning on getting any, just thought i'd show this. Tried my mates 17s are theyre multifitment et35 7J, not sure on tyre profile. Had to be tested as the only 17s i've seen have been on standard height cars and look like tractors, it'd be totally undrivable as they'll touch as soon as I move the steering but they do fit even with the car nice n low...

That actually looks pretty good on such large rims, when often they just look wrong. The lowering is what makes it work IMO, as they disappear into the arches and not just lift it 10 ft in the air instead!

17 will fit you just need a very low profile. 205/3517's should fit.

Yeah I think those are 225/45's, wouldn't like to run on them anyway, want something like 14 or 15" 8J ET0 :P

Lee,

I take it that was with the lowering springs fitted.

I think 16s would look better, but those actually look quite sensible compared to the ones which Al had one his 360....probably because the tyres are in proportion.

cheers
