Non volvo Idiot content

Post by SoLaMaNdA »

Check out this idiot. He wrote off his car on a straight road, admitted to heavy speeding, no seatbelt and no insurance.

(some good photoshop in the last few pages)

Comedy spin off (pun intended)

Haha. I didn't get to reading more than three pages, but the second link is great.

I'm glad our forum seems more sensible, and less argumentative :)

I think it just proves that all Skyline owners are tits sm56

I can't believe there are two pages of them arguing over who is less-illegally insured!

cheers

Ice?! This has been the warmest January since 1662!!!

10/10 for driving skills, front end goes light on a straight, so what do you do? Swerve hard, into a tree - takes aspecial kind of person to think of that...

Aye thats Paul, think it was also late at night after working a night shift or something, like how he almost managed every panel on the car lol, the insurance was something to do with them only wanting to cover him TPFT because of the logbook, he didn't want to claim as it'd push up the insurance and he wouldn't be able to afford to insure another, lucky it was only forest and not another car though, oh also on another note, young lad got this integra and crashed it after a couple of weeks, had no belt on and got away with broken ribs and a broken leg as it threw him out of the car....

It scares me that we share the roads with people with the (lack of) mad tyte skillz (y0) of that Integra driver...assuming that was another 'solo effort'. I mean you've got to balls up pretty seriously to achieve that!

cheers

I read a fair bit of that thread, just for the comedy value. It seems to be attracting a lot of attention!

Also the arguements and allegations that are good reading! Especially with regards to prosecution of speeding etc, dangerous driving even as a result of admitting on a public forum that he was speeding, and what happened.

Ouch....ouch....ouch......ouch......

I saw a demo of the Volvo SIPS system (i.e. the original version, not the airbags, etc). It uses beams to keep the section beneath the seat intact, and uses the bits of the car where there aren't people to soak up the energy. Very clever. Not saying it'd have been much better there, like...

cheers

That really is wrapping your car around a tree in the literal sense of the meaning. Not nice at all, a well rooted tree will not collapse and be very forgiving, as shown there. Certainly a very lucky person to survive that.
