seats

Post by A M R »

i might be able to acquire some front seats from a mk3 golf gti.
i was thinking, is there some way i could get the front seats to fit into the 360 or is it near enough impossible?

is there anything else from that car that would readily fit on a 360? (doubt it but worth a try)

300 seats are the most comfortable I've ever found, so I doubt a VW can offer anything better, new Passats are incredibly unsupportive and uncomfortable. If it was an upgrade to something like a bucket seat then fair enough, but if it's for aesthetic reasons, you'll suffer on the comfort front!

I seems very difficult to me. The golf have a system with 2 legs that slide into a rails welded to the sides of the chassis. In the volvo the seat is placed above a flat surface with the rails stick to the seat itself...

I think you can fit ford seats maybe, or Porsche ones, honda maybe too but not VW ( in a easy way, of course )

Regards !

Can't see the point tbh, the only grumble I have with 300 seats is the lack of lateral side support (worsened by having leather), and some people don't like the height. However, generally for road use they offer excellent comfort.

For a performance point of view, you'd be better off getting a bucket seat (and a car to put them in)
