anyone know of a good place that i can get my rims refurbed and wont charge an extortionate price?

theres one company my uncle knows of called spit and polish or something that charges £25 per wheel. is there any cheaper anywhere?

i think i might need diamond cutting as well.

heres a taster of what will be going on petes glt after i get it 8)

hehe LOOKS, but not THAT good a condition.

if you look closely, there are a few specs of rust on it and some of the lacquer has swirl marks in places which sort of makes it look like someone's cummed on them lol. usual bit of kerbing as well.

all of them are like this, but there's one thats a bit worse and it wouldnt look right if left like that.

gave em a good clean earlier (whilst it was pissing it down). need to do a more thorough job though.

what kind of polish should i use? any special techniques?

getting tyres sorted on wednesday, so we'll see how it looks then.

also i had a thought of having the spokes painted black and the lip polished. any thoughts?

Been done already ;) :P

I'd not paint the centres black on them rims, that can work well on some - but you can loose the detail when theyre black - I'd just refurb them as standard - how mine will get done eventually!
