I seem to have forgotten where I originally posted the announcement about the V3C forum being offline and crashed etc... and couldn't find it again. So, if someone finds it, feel free to merge this topic into it.
anyways, the message is that after a couple of days (and nights
) of hard work, our board is back online.(you know the url but for those who dont;)

Be warned that more than half a year of new topics, posts and user registrations have been lost. Terrible errors were made at our hosting provider. (due to database size, i could not back up the database myself at first. had to rely on them to do it, and.. well.. they failed)
On the bright side; the import of the posts from our old board has had much better results than last time. users and posts are still linked, images and hyperlinks still intact, etc. This time we have also gathered a moderator team in order to divide the workload.
I hope we will never experience such a crash again and will be very much focussed on making regular and complete backups.
PS Aymat what is the DB size of this board??
