Shame the BX16v and 405 Mi16 are great cars, shouldn't be merely engine donors

Yup. But then again most of the SD1's have gone that way too. And countless other things, such as XJS' (which granted don't do themselves many favours... they do turn into a pile of rust around the drivetrain )

Carls old black 16 valve has just been bought by a pug 205 owner for a conversion , mind you it had been written off by a taxi !!!!

Was a bit gutted about that TBH, that was a really nice car!

Puggers seem to be moving on to GTi6 engines now, and even the 8v Turbos. The supply of Mi16 engines must be drying up! Probably gonna push the prices up of the 306 Gti6, Xsara VTS, Xantia Turbos etc etc. Shame really as they're all cars I'd like to own
