Anyone know where or if u can get a manifold to change fueling to a single side draft or down draft weber?

Early Models were fitted with a single dd carb. I have a carb for one of these but not the manifold.
I can get manifolds for fitting twin webbers but I'm sure I could make one to take a single carb but it would be expensive.

do u mean like a single weber 45dcoe?
i've come from the aircooled vw scene so used to IDF's. but think this would be a clearance issue.
also glad it was u that replied as been meaning to ask about the performance cams for the 1.7 that u have mentioned before. how much and do they make that much difference?

The early one I was on about is a single choke rather than the twin choke as most of them have.
The manifolds would be to take twin dcoe carbs.
On the cams front they do give better top end and mid range with only a little loss low down. I have a s/h one the same as what I am now running but it does not have a fuel pump drive so you would need an electric pump.

how much is the cam?
also can u do a lowering package for all four corners for around 1.5-2"?
will it be best to replace all dampers at the same time?
