• 13" 'moondisc' alloy wheels

I have a set of alloy wheels for sale. They're the ones fitted to special edition 340s, older 360 GLEs (mk2 saloons), etc. These ones...

No reasonable offer refused. They were given a (good) amateur refurb before I got them, but could do with another coat of paint and lacquer to finish them off.

They'll go to the scrap man in a couple of weeks unless someone wants them. I'll probably make ~£40 for them there, but I'll take a LOT less than that if someone wants to use them as wheels. It always seems perverse to me that something which took loads of time and effort* to form into an intricate shape is worth more in the jaws of a crusher...

* Well....to design the machine which made thousands of them, anyway

what size tyres do they use?

Yes, I still have them. No tyres fitted, but they would have had 175/70/13s, I *think*...

Hi Mo,

I'm in Lincoln, but I'll be heading round the southern end of the M42 (off the M6, heading for the M5) in a couple of weeks, so I can get them a lot nearer, if you like.

Give me £20 and I'll be a very happy man. That's about half what I can weigh them in for, and goes some way to covering what I paid to get them a few years ago.
