Has anyone got any ideas on how to remove locking wheel nuts without the tool?. I have managed to get the rear wheels off my redline but the front two appear to have locking nuts. I did check when i got the car but as they look identical to the normal nuts assumed it didn't have any. I was thinking of using a 20mm socket, but of course its the only size i haven't got!. I did try hammering on a 19mm but it didn't work.
Thanks

Some places will try to weld a bolt onto the end of the nut, but that depends on how it's constructed. Beyond that and hammering a socket on, I think you might struggle.

How long have you had the car?
1st, have a good hunt for the special tool that unlocks them. Maybe glove box, or deep in the corners of the boot. If you've had the car a fair while you'd probably have found it already if it's there.
2nd, contact the previous owners, they may still have the tool somewhere, and be happy to let you have it.
3rd find the maker of the nut somehow and buy a special tool from them.

I managed to do it. I got the biggest club hammer I have and hit it. I had already searched the car and contacting the previous owner would have been a very last resort. The nuts are pretty much destroyed but I kept some from when I broke up my saloon so its not a problem. They look exactly the same as the other three but are 20mm. How the socket didn't break I don't know as I had to hit it hard!
