Hello Special! Long time no speak! Hope all is well. There seem to be some real mint 300's hiding around the country, hopefully being well looked after in terms of rust prevention! Off the top of my head I can't think of anyone off of here in that area with a H reg Red 300 that's a regular poster, but they may well have registered.

I saw 2 tidy mk3's within half an huor and 1 miles yesterday. Firstly a tidy silver G-reg 1.7 GLE had broken down with it's hazards on. I see the car around locally quite a lot so I stopped and asked him what was up & gave him Terry Volvomans number, seems his o/s front wishbone had expired after years of speed humps... and then I saw an absolutely mint met. blue 1.7 GLE parked up not far from there

I saw two 300's within 1 mile of one another in Aylesbury yesterday. One very nice red F reg 360 GLT that I've seen before, it was wearing the spare wheel on the o/s rear. And then a red 340 with a rusty rear door. Bet both of them wondered why someone in a van was taking so much interest in their cars as they passed! Passed the local J reg grey 340 this afternoon as well while I was in the Vario.
Probably won't see another for ages now!

Is the owner of the F*** ODG on here? Ocean blue 340GL same as mine, M4 Cheivley roundabout down the A34 yesterday, would have said hi, but didn't see you'd pulled off after I got stuck behind the astra!

Had a closer look at the blue 1.7 GLE today, parked in the same (disabled) spot it was in August... 34K absolutely mint, an August 88 car it's dead-cert for a one-owner from new jobby. Next time I'll pop a note on the screen, it will come up for sale eventually as they all do... Mind you, I also had a good look around an old-dear's plum coloured Rover P5B and that's been owned since new (almost 40 years!) and still only clocked up 44K...
