Oil spec for 1.4 340DL

Hi guys..later this week i am planning to refurb my valve cover and also do an oil/filter change on my 1.4 340..cars has only 35k so far and i was wondering whats kind of oil i should be using on her..normally i use 15/40w on my 1.8Si 440 & Mobil 1 fully synth 5/40W on my S60 and i got loads spare..would the same oil be suitable for the 340 or should i use something else?

I should think the 15/40 should be fine unless anyone knows different.

I always used 15/40 on my 1.4.

tbh Mo, any of those oils is going to be absolutely fine in your car. You can use 15/40. 10/40, 5/40, 0/40 they're all good.

Decided to get Castrol GTX Magnatec 15/40W ...i will leave the fully synth stuff for the S60..
