Hi

I'm after a little "sunday driver" (and something to confuse my colleagues) with a bit of 'spirit'. Whether it be a 343/345... something with a colourful interior...something in an unusual colour... something with a story... whatever!

Really would prefer an earlier car, but open to all sorts of suggestions.

I'm at last in a position where I have some real money to look after a car, a garage to keep it in and the lack of a wife to bo**ock me for spending good money on it!

Obviously looking at the forums/ebay - but lemme know. All help appreciated.

Anything in the offers section take your fancy? I't be nice to see SoLaMaNda's car get saved:

... colourful interior, an early(ish) car ...

I like it. There's a 'volvo graveyard' about 3 minutes from my house (some guy's got a volvo scrapyard on the A1) so I'll go see if he's got a tailgate and a price for one.

I thought the interior on that 360 was black - am I wrong?

NOW we're talking.
Quite full on the price perhaps? But let's see... thanks a million.

I don't think the price is too steep for a Mk1 with 2 owners, t&t, and a fsh ... A mint Mk1 went for 1100 pounds a couple of months ago  Best get a couple of high-res photos or go for a visit before bidding though

'79 was a good year for Mk1's IMHO. They finally came with a manual option and the dash was changed for a more Volvo-like one. However, you've still got the wheels and 70's style badges of the earlier models which suit the car quite well ...

BTW, "DL" was top-notch in '79. That means you get a clock, a dipping rear view mirror, a fag lighter and a parcel shelf, wahey :D
