1.7 340 engine oil - track work

Hi there

I've bought a 32k mile 340 as advertised on this board and I have a question... what is the best engine oil for a 1.7 that will under go regular abuse?

It will be used on the road, and in the winter, but at the weekend, it will be used for drifting.

I understand 10/40 semi-synthetic is the one to go for in normal circumstances, is this the best option for what I need it for as well?

Thats what i run in valver engined one mate and that gets abused!!!
Have no problems. Make sure you go for a branded oil though, i swear by morris's myself.

I made it myself mate. Just bought boxes and bends from Demon Tweeks and welded it all up.
