More of a double-sided A4 sheet than a brochure, but might still be of interest for some of you:

Again, translation to follow. In the meantime just to recap:

I picked up a couple of those the other week. There is even an English language one out there, but only for the 1981 mk1 model as far as I can tell.

cheers

OK, time to give this one a go:

"The Volvo 340 GLS R-Sport is only available in limited numbers, exclusively for individualists who appreciate sporting flair also in cars. Descreet side stripes in the R-Sport design and the numbered RS-Team writing are the visual distinctive marks.

Under the bonnet, things get down to business (:-)):
2. Solex twin carburettors, a hot camshaft and an electric cooling fan increase the power of the 1986cc engine to 120 horsepower (88kW) at 6000 revs/min. In conjunction with the transaxle system (engine at the front, gearbox at the back) and a more strongly dimensioned anti-roll bar the chassis matches the raised engine output and turns winding country roads into a unique experience.

There are various ways for the R-Sport fan to upgrade the Volvo 340 GLS R-Sport using additional sporting accessories:
5½Jx14 alloy wheels with 185/60 HR 14 tyres, gas-filled shock absorbers, additional lighting or a sports steering wheel.

If you like exclusive sporting cars, you shouldn't muss this Volvo. Take a test drive in this wolf in sheep's clothing, you will be thrilled!"

Technical details:
1986 cc four-cylinder engine with
120 horsepower (88kW) at 6000 revs/min
Max. torque 160 Nm at 3000 revs/min
0-100 kph 9.5s
Top speed 180 kph

Fuel economy:
90kph 8.0 l/100 km
120kph 10.0 l/100 km
urban 13.2 l/100 km

I'm glad I wasn't responsible for selling R-Sports, no-one would've bought the thing :-)
