Post by classicswede »

I need the rear pillar from a rear passenger side door. Its the bit that seperates the fixed window from the wind up one.

Don't know where any are I'm afraid Dai, but they can be a pig to get out without scratching the plastic if you havn't done it before. Any ideas on how not to ruin the plastic appriciated!

I can have a look at some point Dai, I think I've got a rear door that I can break up for that bit. I attempted removing one once, and it is a pig, but possible I think. The rivet or screw at the top is easy, it's the bottom fixing which could be troublesome.

Bottom fixing I've seen rusted in, but a big enough philips and it's fine, drill the rivot out the of the top, and she's free. Now, you need to get it out of the door/window without scratching the plastic!

I've found that getting the trim off that piece without breaking it is pretty much impossible. Good luck!

cheers
