Yeah, it prevents the rocks and other stuff hitting the exhaust. :P

I wonder what kind of prop he is running or does he have a torque tube setup. Also specs about the diff and the drive shafts would be nice. :P

Btw this place sells some fiberglass parts for 300-series.

I'd be interested to know more about the gearbox. It looks like an M45 with a bellhousing at the back...?!

cheers

That must be a M45. The bellhousing looks a little like a B18/B20 one but its not.
It would be good to know what the set up is.

What is the GRP bits they offer?

Breddade Bakskärmar = Widened rear arches
Breddade Framskärmar = Widened front wings
Dörr höger = Right side door
Dörrskin H+V = Door skin right&left
Motorhuv = hood
Spoiler = Spoiler :lol:
Stötfångare bak = Rear bumper
Stötfångare Fram = Front bumper
Stötfångare Fram med spoiler = Front bumper with spoiler
Övre Frontplåt = Front upper valance (part where the stock hood hinges are attatched)

It's weird that they've got the right side door, but not the left side. :P

That blue car in the pics was in a tarmac rally sprint event here in Finland some time ago.

There were couple 240s too and one very cool PV. http://www.kotamestaritrallisprint.com/galleria.php

Yeah the box is most definately a M45 as those are very popular in bigger rally cross Volvos and many shops make sequential dogboxes based on the M45. Sellholm, SSF-Wheel etc.. :P

Because they leave the left side door usable so the driver can get in and out of the car. Not climb trough the window every time, like for instance in a nascar

Got some more info of the car, rear axle and prop is from a Metro!

The driver kept the solution with the trans axle because it gives a great balance, and because of the weight in the ass it has a quit start

It`s actually one more Rc 340 who has the same solution

Do you have more question? I have contact with the driver\owner..

I have asked him about the gearbox!

Sorry to say but the Norwegian "krone" is very strong at the moment

Usually 1£ = 13 nkr but now its like 1£ = 11nkr

If you are talking about the glass-fiber parts? Then its another story because its sold in Sweden, better for you i think
