360 GLT Red

So I am having another baby! so my GLT has to go :( I am not using her and she will degrade and that is something I want to avoid.

I am going to finish fitting the extra gauges to the dash and give her a service and valet, I will also attend to the wheel bounce (suspect warped disc).

I will also include the remains of a genuine driving computer and the genuine front valance I bought (the original has a slight knock).

She has a non-leaking sunroof too :D

I also have a spare interior and a set of five Mk2 alloys, I will only sell to someone who is willing to undertake the bits and pieces to get her straight, and I don't want her to go drifting - one reason I have not resorted to e-bay.

She has a little rust around the offside rear wheel arch but not to difficult to rectify at the moment and she needs a new mirror glass for the passenger side (temporary one at the moment).

If anyone is interested please PM me

thanks folks

However even if I become 360less you wont be getting rid of me anytime soon :)

I will pop some pictures on over the weekend

Hello chap, good to see you on here again! Congratulations on the baby! Should be easier second time round, you'll know what to expect!

If you really are getting rid of the 360, I hope it goes to a good home! If not, crack out a can of waxoyl or dinitrol and fill the thing up with rust prevention treatment and store it somewhere dry!

You know you'll want one again one day, and better the devil you know as they say!

All the best mate.

Pete

I may have to take you up on that - I have managed to hold onto her for 18 months but I am concerned that she will degrade and the garage is full!

would I be correct in thinking this is a 5 dr???

And does road rallying class as drifting? sm14

lol, I suppose its more abusive to the car :D But then it's a classic style of motorsport in which volvo was involved

It is a 5 door and it depends what kind of road rallying you want to do

Just the gentle tootle thru the lanes type.

Is there any test on it and are you red rose or white I can never remember with Rochdale?

Svens idea of a gentle tootle down country lanes

I'll tell thee a little tale of how not to look after a car- the reason this all occurred was due to a small off on the Weardale in March this yr.[quote"]

lol

I had a small off on a mini rally with Steve in the car... he didn't seem convinced at the time it was small ;)

lol folks a small 'off'?

Ok I see I have a few PM's here and I will reply to them, the car is on my parents drive atm so I will get some images asap.

I should have said she is on a SORN at the moment as I have not done a T&T yet this year - however that can be arranged as necessary.

and yes Pete I don't actually want her to go but the garage is full and I am doing this for her benefit (I may have to take her out for a last run though ;))

Ok some there is some interest and 'gentle' road rallying should be ok, I am open to offers either without the bits of work she needs or with the work done by me.

She is a tough little car so if anyone is really interested let me know and I will answer all questions and get images of the areas of the car requested :)

I just want someone to look after her (damn this is difficult) :(

I nearly came on here last night to buy this mate, you know I've always loved this car and I thought the engine had gone in Fake with 9000m till 200k.

Luckily (for Fake, not for your '60...) turned out that I had a sudden split on the top hose round the back of the block, which had filled up my dizzy. It looked orignally that the water was coming from the crank case breather, which had me a lil worried

I really do hope this car goes somewhere nice, not rallying, from the pictures you've shown its a great one.

Well I am happy for Fake tbh :), although I would have been happy to let you have her as well :D
