AAAARGH!!!!
Only ever buy volvos. I bought a (rover) metro for a daily driver about a month ago, and today I was rewarded with a snapped cambelt. GREAT.
Anyone got a spare 1400 K series or 3door 340?
Up to and including infinity million pounds paid to end the misery.

Should be super common to find in a scrappy mate... then again, I think the K series is one I'd like to see running before I buy it! Great engine when they are working though...

About a year ago I bought a 114 GTI 16v multipoint for daily drive, yes about two months I blew my gasket...
Its hard to learn however, I bought a 205 gti for daily drive right now....
But if I 'll say what parts I killed on my volvo, you'll never buy a volvo again

I wonder why we do these mad things, mine was replacing my brilliant 1.7 for a citroen ax to save on petrol and tax, drove it once, got some medication and sold it losing loads of money.
My father in laws k series in his MGF has just blown one of its coolant pipes, he says a new pipe is all it needs, those of us in the know, head gasket, i hope i'm wrong he's only had it a month.

D'oh!
Good choice on the 340 1.4 3 door idea... can't get much cheaper without having something totally disgraceful
