You sometimes find some on this site, although it seems a bit pants to be honest! I put an advert out as a wants, but got a mixed response - I think people thought I was taking the p**s. Auto Trader has a few, but oddly from dealers.
Problem seems that you have good cars for £500 upwards, but below that when it comes to MOT time, and the local scrappy is offering £60 to take these things away......
I do see loads driving around though, so perhaps there is an alternative scenario - people are just hanging on to them for what they are.
By the by, if anybody has a 300 saloon with MOT in the Surrey area that they are thinking of selling, then please do get in touch.

What kind of 300 are you looking for? 1.4 1.7 or 360?
Is it going to end up a custom job?

Yep I've still got Fioner (the 1988 5dr 360 GLT in my avatar). I do need to sell her, but finding the time to sort her is proving difficult!

to be perfectly honest im not that fussed what engine it is a 1.4 would be good as im looking to either restore it or put a stupidly daft engine in it
although im swinging more toward restoration and a 1.4 would be good for tax
i think its difficult to get hold of one because of the high value of scrap ....i mean i got £80 for mine 3 years ago

Aha Special old chap! Good to see you back. Lets hope you find a good 300 and get back to owning one soon. Once you've had a 300, you'll never forget it!
