1982 343 dl variomatic needs a loving home.

hello everyone, my wife has had this car 6 months and had no problems..It was bought as a school run family runaround but after seeing the condition of it I feel it deserves to go to to someone who can garage it and give it the care it deserves as a 25 year old car.

It has many origional features including volvo wheel caps, floor trays and spare keys.I also have the invoice/receipt for the car when it was new £4982.74 and many service sheets and books.

It has an MOT until AUG 2008 but has no tax (sorn).I would like it to go on for a few more years yet..If you are looking for a car to take car of, you will struggle to find one in this condition..I wil answere any questions i can honestly.

A local man has offered me £400 but is not mechanically minded, so don't think it will stay in this condition. Any money I get will be going towards a small runaround for my daughter and partner as a first car so I will also consider a swap for any 1.2 or below car. It needs to be safe and sound as it will have my grandson sitting in it aswell.

I saw it on Ebay and was nearly tempted to try and come and have a look. It looks like a nice car and I am a fan of the variomatic system, owning a later G plated car myself. I'm not sure if I can justify spending money on another 340 vario, despite it being an earlier Mk2. If it doesn't sell, let me know, I may well be interested and would certainly look after it, being an enthusiast with quite a few 300's!
