DENT SHOCK HORROR DAMAGE

Here is the aftermath of late braking...a VW Golf scraped down the side of my car last night after I failed to notice someone stopping in front of me. Slammed the brakes on and managed to avoid hitting the car ahead, but the tyres locked up and I slid into the next lane, causing the Golf to hit me.

You can't really fully appreciate the damage from a camera's POV but the dent is really noticable from this side view.

Ouch! Pains me even to look at it..

Here's the scraped-to-hell wheel, complete with missing bolt cover (if anyone has a spare one kicking about, I'd be interested in buying it..)

The tracking was knackered as well, but I got it sorted at the local MCC today. Been lucky in a funny way really, could have been a lot worse.

Be careful on the roads kids!!

glad you got your tracking sorted - is she all driving ok now?

the hubcap will still be at the scene if its easy to get to - if not, nessy has 4, dunno if james wants them or not, but they're in pretty shitty shape. tell you what, £20.. and i'll include 4 spangly alloys with it too ;)

Well I crashed near to MCC so while they were sorting the car out I walked up to the scene and scanned the area for the bolt cover, unfortunately I found nothing, only a small, pathetic skid mark :(

Tracking isn't just right now, but it'll temporarily do. Guy said I was lucky that the entire chassis didn't need realigning.

And shut up about those damn alloys!! :p
