Lol, good luck! if you find a place that churns out straight cut close ratios for a decent price give me a shout. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure there is no option than to go custom (unless there is an ultra rare rsport jobbie out there)

Well SSF-Wheel in here makes straight cut boxes based on m45 for 200-series, mainly rally/rally cross guys use those. One might think they would make one based on 300-series m4x box too. Though those are not cheap around 5000€ :D

Another one is Swedish Sellholm, though again not cheap.

Sellholm's "ultimate" gearbox is quite piece of art..

Behold, the fully sequential Sellholm MPG

O.F.I Engineering has MPG in their 240

Those MPG's go for something like $8500 _used_

Well if you checked my post, SSF-Wheel in here makes gears, at least for M4X-series boxes in 200-series. But those aren't too cheap.. Complete boxes around 5000€..

tbh I can't really see why you'd want a straight cut box for a valver conversion apart from the kudos of having one. It is far more important to sort out traction before acceleration imo i.e. lsd or locker depending on use. (not that they are any easier to sort, if you're interested have a search)

Cheers

It'd be funny watching anyone else try to drive your car if you had one installed  But rather worrying about damage at the same time... :P

Yes, our school systems starts teaching it from 4th grade to 9th, then whatever one chooses to continue from there, english will be present all time so even those that refuse to learn will learn :P

I'm sure that in SF pyörä they have lot of orders from outside of country too and they surely are capable of speaking english as their homepage is offered as in english too.

I know I'm going to have to do something gearbox wise in the next few years as the std item is not going to cope with the intended power.

for those who messaged me: there was, maybe still is, a gearbox for sale but remember its broken and its 1K to buy + shipping + repair. To get it fixed correctly will be a small fortune......when gears go they break/damage other gears, shafts, bearings so the whole box would have to be professionally rebuilt [in my opinion]. i asked to see photos of the box, never got to see any, so gave up on it. he had no lsd's for sale!!
if you have a couple of grand spare and are serious, i will give you details !

shame, i'd have a couple of grand to spare in about 6 months i'd guess. but a couple of grand for a straight cut is/ would be way over budget

I'd say for your purposes, there's next to no point in having one. I think Quaiffe do straight-cut gearsets for M4x series boxes...at a price.

I met the dude behind OFI Engineering last summer when we were in Sweden. Nice bloke, and a bit of a genius to boot.

cheers
