Did a 1.7 ever come with power steering?

I was supposed to be getting a 1.7 with power steering but I could not contact the seller to arrange collection. I do'nt know if it was a factory fit or conversion.

If you find the steering heavy there are ways to solve this without the power and fuel consumption loss of power steering.

Did you ever see the car?

I know it came on a 1.4, haven't seen it on a 1.7.

What other ways?

Theres a 1.7 for sale in the for sale section with PAS at the moment!

I rang the guy and thats y i started the topic, nut im not convinced the car has PAS..

As far as I'm aware, 340s never had PAS except as aftermarket conversions (which is what the kit I sold you was, Jay...and crazily expensive they were when new, too!).
