Just out of interest: is your driving computer for an injection or a carb model?

Well done anyway, nice find :-)

Injection boards will be soon, I promise! Had a nice guy from Finland email me about them last month too, he has a squirted 242 and needs one! Actually, while I think about it, who does need them?

I *think* it's Pete F, Steve P (dude, do you need a board? I can't remember), erm, Foggy?

Bjoffa, if you do need to fit your computer to an injection car, and have a carb sensor, let me know.

Chris, you can put me down as a definite for an injection interface box! I was meaning to bump your old thread on that subject soon ...

I would love to have the driving computer may be a bit expensive though. Is it possible to retrofit one from another caR?

Yeah, which one depends on how much electroincs fiddling you want to do. I've chucked a 480 one into a 300, which tbh, I'd not do the same way again. I promised V6Man one again ago, but I need my turbo working before I can make it, and it's taken me so long to get that sorted with uni work etc.

An easier one to fit is one from a Jag XJS, they are DIN radio sized, and all you have to worry about is sorting out an interface for the injection/carb fuel flow rate.

It´s for carburator right now but i dont think can be so hard to make it to work on injection.

I´ll rather like it to work for injection, cuse im selling my 343 whit b14 and carb. i have a two 360 b200 whit injection, one off them are going to get a make over ;P it would look nice whit a driving computer in my 363

I liked your trip computer fitting Chris, but you put the panel in a unpracticle area.

Where does the interface go anyway? More importantly what type of interface is suitable Most ppl never sell the actual components of the trip computer, only the display panel.

PS. Where is your radio fitted Chris?

My 480 one is in the same place where the Volvo gauge panel goes, but I do agree, I like being able to put my phone in that place. Thing is, I have a gauge panel in my other 300 there too, although I can still put stuff under it (I have a photo somewhere that explains what I mean!)

Thats the Jaguar one, it is a neat self contained unit, unlike the 400 one, although it still needs a method of calculating fuel flow, either a carb sensor with an interface or an injection board. Non of it is easy tbh, but, looking around, V6man, Adam, Jari and myself are all going to have issues, as we will be running different injection systems anyway. Maybe as well as making a batch of LE jet boards, I should see how easy it is to make a universal interface. Hmmm, thought required!

As to a radio, I have a head unit in Fake, but it isn't wired up, and both Kar and Fake have an amplifier that I feed an ipod directly into, so don't need a head unit!
