Evening all
My 1990 1.4 5 dr is availble as of now.
The car is in VGC with current MOT (till June I thiink - Im not at home at the moment so cant check) and tax. Bodywork is excellent - the odd ding but nothing noticeable really. When I bought it I noticed a rust bubble on one of the rear wheel arches - I cleaned it out, applied rust killer and filler and then painted it with Hammerite. There was also some surface rust to the sill on the same side so I rubbed this down (didnt need filling) and painted both sills as well.
I had some running problems at first - I changed the HT leads, dizzy, plugs etc and with some excellent advice from VOC forum and V3M members tracked down the problem to loose carb bolts!
The car is at my daughters flat in Slough. Im happy for any forum member to fully examine the car as they see fit and drive it round the block a few times etc.
Pricing is tricky. I paid £430 for it if memory serves. I will let it go to one of the enlightened for £300 which seems fair enough to me.
Sorry I cant post photos at the moment as my camera has given up the ghost! there are some pics on my VOC profile:
