hi guys

I'm in need of of an uprated clutch for my 340 1.8 16v. When i built her i cant remember if i used the 1.8 16v renault one or the 340 one??

Please can some one point me in the right direction sorry to sound stupid

Also if there are any uprated ones that will be ok for drifting

Buy clutch from 340 1.7 engine..

You almost certainly used the Volvo disc and Renault plate....or perhaps the complete Volvo clutch with the original flywheel - it depends on which flywheel you used!

im using renault flywheel with complelte b172 clutch.

So the flywheels are the same from the point of view of clutch fitment?

im nto completely sure. but i was told the volvo clutch will all fit. i shall find out by the end of the month.

i'd do a dry run while the fly wheel is off but its currently jamed in the side of my escort boot..

Renault flywheel is a lightened 1.7 one. Same trigger pattern etc.
