Hi All,
Maybe someone can help me, I have a 340 1.7 water pipes, and im tryting to plumb in my F7P but im a bit confused with the Thermostat housing from a R19. the red are the heater connections and they are straight forward, but im left with the yellow connection and no where to put it, and the green one on the top, which is s different size to the yellow one.
Any ideas?

the T piece one is for the heater matrix.
are you running the heaters?
if not. you want top n bottom hose to rad n the take off which goes back to the water tank.

yeah im running the heater without the blower unit, Which T-Piece do you mean? the one that is not highlighted goes off to the header tank.
I have got the Rad hoses all sorted.

Did you change the metal pipe in the back of the water pump? Because if you do one of those pipes joins to it via another metal pipe. The smallest pipe on the stat housing goes to the expansion bottle if you are converting from a 1.4 bottle then you will have to drill the blanked outlet.

Cool, that makes sense, I actualy removed the metal pipe going across the back of the engine completley. It looked like it wasn't needed,
On the back of the water pump there is just a single large fitting for the large rad hose to go on and thats it. Clio engine.
Could i just blank off the top connection on the thermostat and use the header tank pipe thats already on the volvo plumbing (the one coming off the T-Piece on the right? or take the T-Piece out complelet and put is straight onto the top thermostat housing. The later is proberbly the better idea.

I was refering to the metal pipe from the 1.7 doner, Expansion bottle wnts to be from the top of the stat housing ideally.
