There's a 360 GLE for sale locally. It has done 80k, has full history, and is one of the cleanest cars I've seen in ages. I didn't go crawling underneath it....but I couldn't see any rot on it...anywhere.

The downside is that it's that lovely colour I'd described as "baby puke champagne". Apart from that...I'd be sorely tempted to sell the S70...

Anyone looking for a minter as a daily beater?

It's an E-plate mk3. It's pretty dull to look at....but it IS in amazing condition. We're talking "as good as they come" and show-winning, here.

It's the nasty champagne / gold metallic colour.

The ad just shows one pic which doesn't really do the car any favours, especially given the price. You'd have thought that they'd have made a better effort to advertise this one given they want £1000.

Perhaps they don't realise that that's quite a lot of money for a 300? Perhaps they submitted better pics, and that's the one (at a crappy resolution) that that site chose.

I might give them a call and see if they mind me taking a few pics and posting them.
