Wheels?

Post by Bazboy »

Hey guys, time has come to buy new tires for mot, but Ive been hoping to get the car some nice GLT wheels or something similar to replace the bicycle wheels it has on at the moment, so i don't really wanna splash out on tires when i may be getting new wheels anyway.

So heres the question does anyone in the south have any old wheels for a 340 which have a good amount of tread left on them which they are looking to sell at a reasonable price? maybe the cost of new tires lol. I know its a long shot but what the hay may as well try.

Cheers Dan.

I need to have a chat with Jay, I should be getting some this week, but have offered him first dibs ;)

If he doesn't want them, you are welcome to a look mate, they are the 3 spoke version of Mk2 'Leo' wheels (so not leo at all, but look similar ;))

Do you need all 4? I'm pretty sure I've got one old steelie with an almost brand new looking tyre on, possibly more.

cheers for the offer but it really would need to be all four, cause i need to get some tires replaced so was thinking would be better to buy a set of better wheels with ok tires on which would get me through mot then but new tires because i dont plan on keeping the current wheels for long.

Cheers anyways Dan.

£1.20 per litre and 20mpg (on a good day) - cant afford to go anywhere mate ;)

Seriously though, I may grace you with my prescence at some point, but the weather needs to improve first.

As for the wheel it's a 14" steelie with new looking P2000 on it (gawd knows how old it is though). If it's any good to you, or anyone else, you're welcome to it (maybe in exchange for a pint). Thats the only one I have - the rest are Pug wheels.
