'How to...' - Sunroof

Hello fellow-300 drivers. In the coming weeks my '86 360 GLE will be 'renovated'. I don't know if that's the right word, is literally translated from dutch, but you'll understand what I mean.
This week I am removing all possible parts form my car, so the renovation and paint job will be cheaper(I'm a poor poor student...

). I'm pretty much done with everything, but I really have no idea how to remove the sunroof. I only need the top plate, the metal thing with the rubber around it. I need to put on a new rubber and in needs to be removed so they can renovate it easily. Does anybody know how to do that? I would be very thankfull...

As it's late, I'll post up a how to guide on the sunroof removal when I get five minutes! To give you a start, the interior trim panel unclips at the front on poppers like clips that push into the roof, I've got a panel removed that I can take some pictures of to show the locations of them. The rear unclips, which means you need to be able to tilt the roof open at the back to undo those. That is on a bendy piece of metal each side which needs to be slid towards the front of the car from memory to release it. Be very careful of the white plastic blocks that fit in the runners, they will probably be brittle and may break easily if any force is applied. Remind me if I forget to post more info up!

To see whats going on, tilt the sunroof up (yes, I know this is pretty much impossible when it's broken, but there isn't another way I'm aware off!!) then at the back there are two peices of spring steel running across the car, about 3" long. Pop these out of the roof panel by twisting them, and the lining will drop out the back. Then, you need to slide the roof back (again, when the roofs screwed... this isn't easy) and pull (sharp motion downwards) to release the trim clips from the front.
Now you can push the inner trim back out of the way, and panel is held on by the 8mm bolts at the front on the multiadjusters, and by 4 philips screws in sidewards.
I fixed mine the other day when I got my GLT, really should have taken pictures!

I should fix the sunroof on my GLT, I started it yesterday after it's been laid up for a year. K-jet FTW.

I thought it was K jet. Something old-fashioned anyway, unglamorous but reliable.
