Hopefully the car has now been sold, if only to preserve us from yet another juvenile. Maybe you should stick to Nova's and Saxo's..

Of course all are welcome but those of us who have been involved first hand in the aftermath of a boy racer skidding all over the road have a duty to condemn such behaviour. Tolerance is all very well but not if its your daughter who happens to be in the passenger seat....

Consenting adults..........................................?
If I had a daughter, I wouldnt let her out the house never in someone elses car. And certainly not ever in a drifter!
However, everyone ive ever seen post on this forum has preached safety loud and clear.

We can advise and inform, but we cant tell people what to do and what not to do though eh?

Be safe kids.
Specially with peoples daughters.

Ive got to agree with Ian Mac , we have had some VERY irisponible people on here and i don't condone it, AND we can tell people what to do if it conserns the law its our duty as decent people. (VnD i know you don't like people telling you what to do but you seem like a decent bloke) There's a time and place for everything and using "public" roads (there's the hint-they are for everyone and we have a right to be safe on them) is just rekless. annnyyyyy wayss think il leave it there and wait for flames(must be this beard ive grown)

Read what i wrote Germ.
Everyone on here preaches safety.
and Anyone with any sense practices same.

But if yous guys think that kicking pesky drifeters off V3M is going to keep sensible peoples daughters safe, then youre just wrong.
We're responsible for advising sensibly (which I think we all do) but we cant be responsible for the IRRESPONSIBLE actions of irresponsible people.
Everyone has free will.

if some retard is going out driving irresbonsibly on public roads, causing a danger to himself, his passangers, and other road users then they deserve the full wrath of the criminal justice system.

But there plenty of young lads on here with a genuine interest in motorsport, in the correct place, at the correct time, who ask for help and advice regarding volvo 300s.

This is an open forum, as far as im aware (Duvel, please put me in my place if im out of order), and no furum member (other than Duvel and the Mods) has the power to say who has, and has not, the right to post here.

As long as we're not endorsing illegal activities (which I have never, ever seen here) or irresponible behavior (again, I dont think Ive seen here) then isnt all good?

If you want to vet forum menmbers for sensibilities similar to your own, then we'd quickly degenerate into an obscene online dictatorship.

live free brothers.

And be excellent to each other.

Rant complete.
Personally, I dig you all, or I wouldnt be here.

LOL the old Nova stereotype rears it's outdated 90's head once again. There are barely any wankered up examples around these days mate. Almost all are in the hands of enthusiasts and many have been restored or returned to OEM styling. I still miss my 1400 SR and hang around on the PNG forum as I like the craic and the cars. Take a look and be surprised. The Nova is a very capable track car and is fast on it's way to becoming a classic. It is already sought after and certainly has rarity in it's favour.

Also the lad with the S13 didn't say he likes to drift on public roads so it's wrong to have a go at him IMO.

oi quiet chu :P i have nothing against drifters or anyone in motor sport infact i like it, If you read what I wrote you will see i said nothing about that. and legal motorsport takes place in suitable conditions be it drifing rally or what ever. ive been here longer than you and we have had some people that had a total disregard for other peoples safety (one name comes to mind instantly) how do you know everyone preaches safety with over 1000members.

I love V3M i love volvo's and i like to think when i go out in my car that someone isnt going to (onpurpose) skid into me. things have come close with people having "fun" drifting round round a bouts with other cars circulating..... sm2

also i have nothing agaisnt nova's. maybe saxo drivers tho! as i had one hurl its self in to my car!! (not the volvo)

again, i have nothing agaisnt drifting motorsport or other. just the disregarde for others on the road. that is all.
