Lovely motor - someone's put care into that car.

BTW - calling ebay "egay" makes you sound ignorant. There are a lot of members on this site - some of them are almost certainly gay - and we like to be inclusive here (we even have some Citroen drivers). Sorry to be confrontational, but I have a reputation as a cantankerous old git to live up to

Yeah ron, I'm one of v3ms gay members as it goes. Well bisexual anyway.
I just don't find the word 'gay' insulting or offensive man. Because it's just a word. No malice, no intent, just a word.
If I've upset anyone else on v3m by using the word 'gay' in a few post titles then i apologize.
And if I've offended you personally ron, then again, I'm sorry.

Just a word tho man.

Anyway, looks like a good un so I've PM'd a mate who's looking for a skidder. Hopefully this'll be coming to the north east.

Seats

Post by workshopmanualman »

My 360 has the leather. The old boy I bought it from said he was selling the car as he was tired of them being cold to sit on each morning. Wimp thought I.

Now, however, with my car frosted up I'm thinking he was a wise old man. Boy are those seats horrid first thing of a frosty morning.
I blame the Volvo 66 estate I had......

Aye I've experienced that horror before. And they're sweaty in the summer too.

sounds like my sofa. :P
Small prices to pay for the privalage though. There's something about a leather interior that just says claaaaas.
Hope your mate gets the drifter off Weebay john (after consultation with the v3m censors, this term was found to be the least offensive alternative that still retained the intended jokular vibe. )
Be nice seeing that tinker throw the back out round seaburn morrisons car park.

Honestly, its P.C. gone mad!

I find 'feebay' is more and more appropriate these days. And also side-splittingly, face-gurningly hilarious.

One of the German Volvo forums automatically translates the term "Ebay" into "E.... BAAAH!" in every post.

OK, their pricing is beginning to get outrageous (particularly if you get your money with PaySteal, sorry, PayPal) but where would be all be without it? Or rather, where would I be without it, where the nearest 300 series in a scrappy is in a different country.

What you need is heated seats in the winter and A/C in the summer. Pity I have neither in my leather-clad GLT ... :-(
