Hey Guys and Girls,
Does anybody have or know a good place to get front and rear shocks for a 340? as mine seem a bit weird, just wondering if there are any places which still stock them as i dont really wanna use ebay.
Cheers Dan

Why don't you want to use the bay? Don't go for the usual "Gabriel" fare, just wait for some nice NOS Monroe or Sachs dampers to come along. And don't be worried about bidding overseas, as long as they accept PayPal. A set of rear Konis went for around 50 Euros on German Ebay recently.

euro do stock them . Keep away from Boge as I have had a lot of them faulty from new! I'm sure other will say they are ok but over the last 3 years or so I've had about 10 faulty Boge units!

my front shocks i got from halfords mainly because i work there but monroe gas shocks are good about £120 a pair. and we can order in spax adjustables for rear and most other type of rear ones.

^^^ What have you got in the way of front shocks? My branch has idiots on the parts desk, but I still like to exercise the old trade card

tbh honest as with most of the other parts of my car the front shocks are probably as old as the car itself lol, so id suspect there in need of a change.

I have just bought lip gas tech made by QH, they are pretty good and around £60 a pair on trade from my factors.

I can recommend those too! I've got exactly those in the back of my GLi. Hopefully to be replaced with Ride-Levellers, one fine day ...

I would highly recommend Spax for the rear, even on the softest setting they were good!

spax adjustables for rear are the best

and i got my trade card because i work at halfords. dont know how else you get hold of them :s. i think generally to get one you need to work at the place or work in motor industry or be good friends with someone that has one
